UHD Password Change

Step 1

• Go to www.uhd.edu and select the “AccessUHD” link at the top of the page.

Step 2

• If you know your current password, please skip to Step 4.  If you don’t remember your password, please proceed to Step 3.

Step 3

• If you don’t remember your password or were never given one, click on the button “Forgot my Password”.

• On the Self Service Reset page, enter your username and click on the “Submit” button.

• ​​​​​​On the next screen, enter either your mobile number or personal email on file and click on the “Submit” button.

• On the next screen, select where you want the temporary password to be sent to and click on the “Submit” button.

• You should now receive a text message or an email with a temporary password in it.

• You can stop here if you want to keep this password for the next 180 days and use the text message or email as a reference.  If you want to change the temporary password, please proceed to Step 4.

Step 4

• Go back to “Accessuhd.uhd.edu” and enter your username and log in with the temporary password you received.

Step 5

• If your previous password was saved to the browser, then it should automatically log you in and take you to the Dashboard page (Skip to #5).  Otherwise, enter your UHD network password or the temporary password you received.

Step 6

• You may be asked to authenticate through DUO. Please proceed the authentication.

Step 7

• You should now be at the Dashboard page.  Select the drop-down menu next to your name or the person icon on the Navigation bar.

Step 8

• From the drop-down menu, select the “Change Password” option.

Step 9

• Please follow the following steps:
  • Please enter your current password or the temporary password you received or given in the “Current Password” field.
  • Enter a new password under “New Password” and again in “Confirm New Password”, then click on the “Save” button.

Step 10

• Please allow 5 minutes for the password to update all UHD systems.
