Purpose:
Steps taken to create and add a signature in Outlook.
How to:
New Outlook
- Select the Settings icon at the top.
- Select Account > Signatures > Add signature.

- Enter a name for the signature > compose the signature > choose whether the signature should automatically apply to New messages and/or Replies/forwards > select OK.

Classic Outlook
- Open a new email.
- In the Message tab, select Signature > Signatures.
- Under Select signature to edit, select New.
- Enter a name for the signature > select OK.
- Under Edit signature > compose your signature > choose whether the signature should automatically apply to New messages and/or Replies/forwards > select OK.
Add signature manually
If you prefer to not insert a signature for all new messages or replies and forwards, you can still insert a signature manually.
New Outlook
- Open a new email.
- In the Message tab, select the Signature icon > select the signature you want to insert.
Classic Outlook
- Open a new email.
- In the Message tab, select Signature > select the signature you want to insert.
