Zoom is available to:

  • Faculty and Staff – Host and schedule meetings, classes, or interviews.

  • Currently Enrolled Students – Initiate study sessions, group meetings, and presentations.

  • External Participants – Join UHD-hosted meetings from anywhere; no UHD account required.

This makes Zoom a flexible solution for both internal and global collaboration.

To get started with Zoom:

  1. Download the Zoom Client
    Access the UHD Zoom Portal to download and install Zoom on your computertablet, or mobile device.

  2. Log In with SSO
    After installation, open the Zoom app and select "Sign in with SSO."

    • Enter "uhd" as the company domain.

    • Use your UHD credentials to log in.

Faculty and staff can enhance their Zoom skills by attending training sessions offered by UHD’s Technology Teaching and Learning Center (TTLC).

How do I sync my O365 calendar with Zoom?

  1. We recommend as a first step updating your Zoom client  -  Click your intials in the upper right>check for updates (follow the on-screen instructions)
  2. Open the Zoom client and log in with your credentials.
  3. Click your Initials in the top-right corner then Profile>My Profile.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and locate the Others section
  5. Click Configure Calendar and Contacts Service
  6. Select Office 365
  7. Click Next
  8. It should resolve to your email address and add it (Scroll back down and double check)
  9. You are all set! Your Zoom client will now have a calendar icon next to your intitilas in the upper right that displays your meetings for the day.
