How to Add Another Device to Duo

Steps to add another device to Duo.

Method 1: Through AccessUHD

1. Log into AccessUHD.
2. At the Duo prompt, select Other options.  
3. Select Manage devices.  
4. Select an authentication method.   
5. Select Add a device. 
   
6. Choose how you want to enroll your new device:

• Duo Mobile: Recommended if you prefer to use the Duo Mobile app for authentication. 
• Phone Number: Recommended if you prefer to receive text message passcodes or if your device cannot use the Duo Mobile app. 
  Once enrollment is complete, the new device will appear as an option. 
  
  

Method 2: Through the Duo Device Management Portal

1. Log into the Duo Device Management Portal.
2. Choose an authentication method. 
   
3. Select Add another device. 
   
4. Select the type of device you are adding (We are adding a new phone in this example) > Continue. 
   
5. Enter the new phone number > select Continue. 
   
6. Select Text me > Verify > Continue. 
   Once verification is complete, the new device will appear as an option.
