How to Enable Duplex Printing

The purpose of this knowledge base article is to provide the steps on how enable duplex printing on a printer that has duplex printing capabilities.

1.  Go to the search field of your task bar and type Control Panel. 

2.  Click Control Panel from the list of results. 

​​​​​​​3.  Under All Control Panel Items, locate and then click Devices and Printers. 

​​​​​​​4.  Under Printers, locate the printer that needs to have the duplex print feature enabled. 

​​​​​​​5.  Once you have located the printer, right click, and select Printer properties from the drop-down menu. 

​​​​​​​6.  Click the Device Settings tab from the printer Properties. 

​​​​​​​7.  Scroll down to the Installable Options section and change the Duplex Unit (for 2-Sided Printing) option from Not Installed to Installed. 

​​​​​​​8.  Click Apply and then click OK.
