Enable “Save as” option in Microsoft Office

Purpose:

Steps taken to enable “Save as” option in Microsoft Office. 

How to:
  1. this works in all applications in Microsoft Office.  When attempting to a save a file in Microsoft Office, you will now see the “Save a Copy” option instead of the “Save as” option under the file menu.  This option can be changed back to “Save as” option.

  1. go back to the main page of the document.

  1. On the top left corner, you will see the “AutoSave” option

  1. simply turn this option off …

  1. Now you will see the “Save as” option under the File menu…
