Purpose:
The purpose of this document is to provide steps on installing the Panopto Video Recorder interface on a user pc. Panopto is a screen and lecture capture tool that facilitates the recording of your lectures on the screen with PowerPoint, Google Slides and or any other websites you want to show.
How to:
Log in to your account at UHD Panopto account​
Enter your UHD email address Click Next Enter your password and then Sign In
- You must authenticate using DUO.
- Once logged in to your Panopto account Click on the Create button
- Select Panopto for Windows
- On the next screen select the option to download Panopto
- Navigate to where installer was downloaded and install (run as) your administrator account (underscore)
- Accept all defaults
- When install is complete you will be prompted to sign into your account
- The following box will pop up after you complete the sign in process. Click on Open Panopto Recorder
- The Recorder will Open in following format
