Purpose:
The purpose is to DEMONSTRATE HOW to install the desktop client of panopto.
COMMON REASON: The user may request the desktop client of panopto to be installed instead of using the website.
How to:
STEP 1: Go to: https://www.uhd.edu/computing/blackboard/Pages/training/Panopto.aspx
STEP 2: Select “UHD Panopto account​”
STEP 3: Sign into: https://uhdowntown.hosted.panopto.com/
STEP 4: On the Panopto Homepage, select: “+ Create.”
STEP 5: From the drop-down menu that appears, select: “Panopto for Windows.”
STEP 6: From the window that appears, select: “Download Panopto.”
STEP 7: Run the downloaded software:
STEP 8: Continue with onscreen prompts (Note: Admin credentials will be needed to complete the install):
STEP 7: Once installed the user will see this screen appear and can now sign in:
STEP 8: The user may be asked to sign in, and once they sign in, they should see the following homepage. The software is now installed and should be available in their programs list.
