How to show hidden files, folders, and drives in Windows 10

The purpose of this knowledge base article is to provide the steps on how to show hidden files, folders and drives in W10.

1. Launch File Explorer.

2. Click the File tab.

3. Click Change folder and search options.

4. In the Folder Options window, click the View tab.

5. Under the folder named Hidden files and folders, click on the radio button for Show hidden files, folders, and drives.

6. Select Apply. 

7. Select OK.
