Purpose:
Steps taken to set a Static IP Manually. Note: If you do not have administrator rights on the computer you will NOT be able to set the Static IP.
How to:
Right click on the network icon in the taskbar and select Open Network and Internet Settings
In the Status page select Change Adapter Options
This Right Click on the Ethernet Connection and select Properties
Under the Networking tab double click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
In the General Tab select Use the following IP address and enter the corresponding information.
