Enabling Internet Explorer mode in MS Edge

Purpose:

To enable IE mode in Edge for legacy websites that require IE still.  This was made for a specific website in mind, but any web address can be used (step 8)

How to Fix:
  1. Launch Microsoft Edge.
  2. Open the drop-down menu (1) by clicking the 3 dots on the upper right corner.

  1. Click Settings (2).
  2. In the left column, click Default browser (3).

  1. In the “Internet Explorer compatibility” section, set the toggle switches to “Incompatible sites only” (4)
  2. In the “Allow sites to be reloaded”, set the toggle to “Allow” (5)
  3. The RESTART (6) option may be displayed; if so, click on to restart the browser.
  4. In the “Internet Explorer mode pages” click Add and enter the following urls:
    https://bi.cpa.texas.gov/BOE
    https://fmx.cpa.texas.gov/bi/sirsmenu.php
  5. Close and restart the browser to enable the new settings.
