Purpose:
The purpose is to DEMONSTRATE HOW to change active signal resolution on displays.
COMMON REASON: The user may report that one or multiple displays appear “blurry”. The cause is due to a lower resolution being set as the active resolution on their display (ex. 1600 x 900 resolution on a 1920 x 1080 display).
How to Fix:
STEP 1: Using an administrative profile, reach the desktop, and right-click on “Display Settings”.

STEP 2: Select “Advanced Display Settings” near the bottom of the page.

STEP 3: From the drop down menu on top, cycle to the affected display

STEP 4: Select “Display adapter properties for Display (affected display)

STEP 5: Select “List All Modes”

STEP 6: Select the desired resolution/refresh rate (In most cases it will be 1080 by 1920, True Color (32 bit), 60 Hertz) (Select “Ok” then “Apply”)

STEP 6a: If the desired resolution is already selected (see steps 6a and 6b), Select a different resolution, select “Ok.” then “Apply.”

STEP 6b: Repeat STEP 6, this time with the desired resolution. Select “Ok” then “Apply.”
STEP 7: Restart the device as needed.
