Purpose:
The purpose is to DEMONSTRATE HOW TO EXPORT/IMPORT bookmarks in firefox for backup purposes.
How to:
STEP 1: Launch the Firefox browser.
STEP 2: On the upper-right hand corner select the 3-line option:
STEP 3: Select “Bookmarks”
STEP 4: Select “Manage Bookmarks”
STEP 5: Select the option to “Import and Backup”
STEP 6: Select either the option to “Export Bookmarks to HTML…” or to “Import Bookmarks from HTML…”
STEP 7: Name the bookmarks accordingly (preferably with “FF” in the title to distinguish the bookmarks as belonging to Firefox as opposed to Chrome)
STEP 8: To import the bookmarks, follow steps 1-6 and select the saved bookmark file.
(Notice: the icon is a Chrome icon due to Chrome set as the default browser. This may vary depending on the user’s settings)
